
Nancy Hill
9th District
Nancy Hill, LMSW was born and raised in Hamden, CT. Nancy received her formal education from Central Connecticut State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree. She completed her Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Connecticut – School of Social Work. Mrs. Hill currently works fulltime as a New Haven Public School Educator of Human Behavior/Social Worker and completed her Sixth Year Degree in Educational Leadership from Southern Connecticut State University. Mrs. Hill have over 30 years of experience in working with families and children.
In addition, she devotes her time to the John A. Edmonds Scholarship Fund which is a managed fund of The Prosperity Foundation. The JAE Scholarship Fund was created as a token of her dad’s unwavering desire and countless efforts to assist students who attend and graduate from Hamden High School. It is her desire to keep his legacy alive by continuing to assist those students who had they not had someone to inspire them; their graduation may not have been possible.
Nancy is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, The Waterbury, CT Chapter of the Links, Inc, and The Fairfield County Chapter of Chums, Inc. In March 2020, she was elected to serve on the Hamden Democratic Town Committee. She is the devoted wife to Howard K. Hill and the proud mother of two children.
