Board of Education

Reuel Parks has been a resident of Hamden, CT for eleven years. He has raised three beautiful daughters alongside his beautiful wife, Tameeka Parks, whom he’s been married to for twenty years. Together he and his wife have proudly watched their daughter matriculate from Hamden High and now attending Virginia State University.  Their youngest daughter currently attends Hamden Middle school.

Mr. Parks has earned his Master’s in Social Work from Springfield College.  He has worked in various capacities at numerous state agencies.  He has recently retired after twenty-three years of service to the state of Connecticut.  

Mr. Parks founded and operated his own 501C3 non-profit organization, C.H.A.M.P Inc., mentoring at-risk youth since 2014. He is also a proud member of the national fraternal organization, Phi Beta Sigma.
